The 2026 GSG Impact Global Leadership Meeting was held in Amsterdam on 16-17 September at the Park Inn Radisson Hotel Amsterdam. It brought together 113 participants from 37 National Partner countries. A partner event hosted by the Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (DutchNAB) on 15 September connected the global GSG Impact Partnership with the Dutch impact ecosystem and provided an important practical reference point throughout the GLM. The meeting was designed to strengthen shared conviction around GSG Impact’s evolution towards impact economies, turn the Impact Economy Index into shared GSG Impact Partnership infrastructure, sharpen a co-owned narrative and deepen trust and connection across the Partnership. The Dutch polder provided the organising metaphor: people with different interests working together around a shared challenge because collective action is necessary. Day 1, “Building the Dike”, moved from shared context to concrete ideas. Day 2, “Planting the Seeds for the Future”, shifted from ideas towards participant-led exploration, regional collaboration and future actions.
